He acknowledged his opinion isn't popular, but he felt that the craftsmanship, acting and suspense within the film all fall in that sweet spot. He also mentioned that it is neat to see Connery in a non-James Bond role during the time he was playing James Bond. I need to check it out soon.

And yes, this is a really well handled mystery flick. It never gets scary but there may or may not be some supernatural elements going on, so that fits the season. But do not fear, I've got one more review due up next week for Halloween and that fits the typical horror fare.Roman J. (Nor is it of necessity right on that account.) I haven’t seen When Marnie Was There, but she seems to be of an age not much beyond that when Hitch’s Marnie character (so we learn) became troubled. From your images the whole setting of When Marnie Was There looks a little too civilized to have much else in common with the Hitch Marnie background though.

A well-presented and moody mystery/coming-of-age film for Halloween could be a welcome change from, say, a knife wielding spree murderer in a hockey mask.
Richard Bellushhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10108081864942272619noreply@blogger.com
